How can we help you?
EMCO Wheaton’s truck manifold assemblies are shipped complete for easy installation.
The fitted valves allow a vehicle’s compartments to be pumped or metered for bulk or hose reel delivery. Safe and simple to use, operators can quickly deliver product accurately without risk of spillage or contamination.
Each assembly comprises of an EMCO Wheaton API adaptor, pneumatic manifold valve, and lightweight manifold fabricated from extruded aluminium. Units are also fitted with a guard bar which is interlocked to the vehicle’s brake system.
Lightweight and compact, this product conforms to API RP1004 code of practice for bottom loading. Variable centers can be made to suit your tanker design requirements. There are several optional extras that can be added to these assemblies, covering most common pump and metering applications. These include a return device that safely directs product back to an appropriate compartment, as well as a gas separator and double acting valve. The product return device is used when a multicompartment tanker carrying different products is changing delivery through the hose reel. This is done to avoid contamination.
Double acting internal air cylinder in manifold valve, combined with poppet spring ensures positive opening and closing of cylinder. All manifolds come complete with visual indication for easy identification of open state. Operating temperatures can be as low at -40°C.
Variants available include:
Manifold Valves can be supplied with or without product return feature.
This system is fitted onto tank trucks and is most often used for heating fuel deliveries. However, our product also used to deliver diesel to fuelling stations on farms and other off-road sites, such as mines.
EMCO Wheaton manifold assemblies are durable by design, using high-quality materials and diecast components.
However, deliveries can be taxing on certain parts that are used regularly, which is why we offer troubleshooting, maintenance and support at our local service centres. Our team are on hand to inspect your system and recommend changes to keep it working optimally.
